About Me
Hi, I’m Dianne. Wedding cake maker turned cake business mentor. Proud mama, nana, dog mama, and a later/midlife woman still figuring things out. Before cakes became my business, I worked in a local chemist, early years education as a nursery nurse and, following that, I worked in School Nursing. Supporting, guiding, and encouraging others has always been at the heart of what I do.
After a big life shift and redundancy, I found myself navigating anxiety, depression, uncertainty, and a loss of direction. Cakes became my creative outlet again, something I’d loved years earlier when my children were small. What started at the kitchen table slowly grew into a successful bespoke cake business, creating celebration and wedding cakes for clients who trusted me with their biggest moments.
Along the way, I learned the hard way how to balance creativity with confidence, pricing, boundaries, family life, and resilience. Those lessons are now what I pass on to the women I support.

I’m now here to help women like you step boldly into your cake business dreams, conquer self-doubt, and leave behind the overwhelm of figuring it all out alone. Whether you’re transitioning from hobby baker to business owner or just trying to balance business while taking care of everyone else, I’m here to guide you with real talk, practical strategies, and a good dose of encouragement and accountability!
